Mars Wright is a Trans Artist and Activist who spreads Trans Joy by sharing art with the world. Wright is a mixed media artists that is interested in the beauty of imperfection and the strength of radical honesty. “ Through sharing my life vulnerably I hope to help folks feel less alone. We are all trying our best and I want to honor that effort.” 

Armani (Armani Dae), CEO/Creator of ArmaniDae LLC, is a Creator, Actor, Author and “Artivist” (activist through art). Born & raised in Philadelphia, PA (currently bicoastal between Los Angeles & New York City). From photography to pouring positive energy into others, Armani prides himself on creating art and events that spark conversation and speak volume. His work including but not limited to photography, paintings, written materials, and more always shed light and bring awareness to many important life aspects such as Self Love, Equality, Body Positivity, Trans Rights, Wellness, Community, the importance of Art and the expression of life through it.

Gris Paloma Iris (She/They) is a proud Nonbinary Trans Boricua on occupied Tongva land. Her work can be seen in TRANSformation on YouTube and Instagram, a short film that she wrote, directed and acts in. Paloma currently works as the Media Director at the Connie Norman Transgender Empowerment Center in West Hollywood, CA and enjoys opportunities to create with and for her intersectional communities.

Liam Woods is a Trans + Non Binary Image Maker based out of LA. Their work is characterized by the vulnerable, candidly intimate storytelling of Queer people, Black People, People of Color and other marginalized communities. In their 5 year experience as a photographer, Liam has partnered with brands such as Apple, Adidas and Warby Parker. They have also shot for publications includuing People Magazine, Washington Post, Vogue Paris, The New York Times, LA Times, Cosmopolitan, and Playgirl Magazine. With their brand experience, Liam has formed over 50 creative job opportunities (and counting) for BIPOC and Queer People both in front of and behind the camera. The main mission in their work is to continue to build upon community and provide resources/access for the betterment of BIPOC and Queer creatives as a whole.  

Sasha Marie Speer uses a variety of materials and processes to investigate, break apart and reconfigure how we connect to ourselves and each other. Through her provoking and powerful studio sessions in photography, video and audio she harnesses the soul of her subjects and creates experiences from them in her work. She interweaves pain and hope into visual forms and experiences to capture and challenge our current state as human beings and seeks possibility of real connection in a world of constant distraction and separation.

“Yozmit The DogStar” is a Transgender singer-songwriter, performance artist, and costume designer. After immigrating to California, Yozmit went on a spiritual artistic journey to find a voice as a trans artist. The DogStar uses self-awareness and art practice as tools for liberation from inequality, bigotry, and marginalization. Yozmit utilizes voice, dance, and costumery as theatrical/shamanic trinity to tell stories about “Yozmit The DogStar” the goddess archetype using a male form while embodying both The Sacred Feminine and The Sacred Masculine. Yozmit creates songs, looks, costumes, public performances, and workshops and spreads her *DoYou* message to encourage people to become fully self-realized and actualizing self-identity.  

Steve Galindo at THESTYLEGUYDE is an emerging, multi-media Los Angeles-based activist, artist and curator. Galindo has a background in art and fashion, and graduated from the West Hollywood Artist Bootcamp 2020. In 2022, they received the Transgender Arts Initiative grant from The City of West Hollywood which began their relationship with the newly opened Connie Norman Transgender Empowerment Center and their relationship with all the artists in this program. 

THESTYLEGUYDE Gallery stands to “Unite Communities through the Language of Art Photography, Mixed Media Manipulation, Painting and Sculpture in hopes of driving conversation of change for marginal communities including the BIPOC and LGBTQAI+ Communities in Los Angeles. Steve’s goal in their curatorial work is to build out conversations of the intersections of our joint struggles to build better more inclusive communities. They have spent the last seven years learning from prominent artists, curators, community organizers and gallerists formulating an artistic philosophy steeped in a desire to express unifying truths about the human experience.
