Brad Sears, J.D., is the Founding Executive Director and Roberta A. Conroy Distinguished Scholar of Law and Policy at the Williams Institute. He is also the Associate Dean of Public Interest Law at UCLA Law. Sears has published several research studies, primarily on discrimination against LGBT people and people living with HIV. He has taught courses on LGBT and disability law at UCLA, Harvard, and Whittier law schools. He has testified before Congress and state legislatures, authored amicus briefs in key court cases, and helped to draft state and federal legislation. A graduate of Yale College and Harvard Law School, he has received the Co-Presidents Award from the LGBT Bar LA (2019) and the Earl Warren Outstanding Public Service Award from the American Society of Public Administration (2018).

Bamby Salcedo is a national and international transgender Latina Woman who received her Master’s Degree in Latin@ Studies from California State California Los Angeles. Bamby is the President and CEO of the TransLatin@ Coalition, a national organization that focuses on addressing the issues of transgender Latin@s in the U.S. Bamby developed the Center for Violence Prevention and Transgender Wellness, a multipurpose, multiservice space for Trans people in Los Angeles.

Sydney Rogers aka Miss Barbie-Q has been in the entertainment and activist field for over three decades as a Black Non-Binary Trans Femme bringing more visibility and healing to the TGI (Trans, Gender Diverse, Intersex) community through artivism. They currently serve as Director of the TG/Enby Project, Founder of Infinite Souls Consultations, and Founder of Big Mama Story Time. They have moderated panels with organizations such as Reach LA, Support Black Theatre, Equality California, and Trauma-Informed LA. They have been featured in the Los Angeles Magazine, NY Times, and performed at the inaugural Beverly Hills Pride and spoke at Long Beach Trans Pride 2022.

Kris Hayashi has over 20 years of movement building, leadership, and organizing experience. As a public transgender person of color, Kris has been a leader in movements for justice and rights for transgender and gender nonconforming communities. Kris currently serves as Executive Director at Transgender Law Center, after serving as the organization’s Deputy Director. Prior to that, Kris spent over a decade as the Executive Director at Youth United for Community Action in California (YUCA) and at the Audre Lorde Project (ALP)

Queen Victoria believes in leadership through service. Currently she serves as Queen of The Royal Court, where she leverages her intersectionality to advise and guide organizations and systems. She also serves as the National President of FLUX. Her majesty has also been a member of such bodies as the Los Angeles County Prevention Planning Council, the Los Angeles County Commission on a HIV Health Services, the Transgender Service Provider Network and The California Endowment’s Building Healthy Communities – Boyle Heights.
