Nathan Frizzell (he/him) is thrilled to return to his artistic home at Celebration Theatre, where he’s been a member of the family since 2005. Nathan has participated in nearly every facet of theatre at CT, including writing, directing, and turns as both an award-winning actor and producer. As an entertainment industry professional, Nathan has performed under the direction of David Lynch and Oscar-winning director William Friedkin and has written for Netflix, Disney, and other networks. Nathan has a BA in Theatre (Performance) from Louisiana State University, performed on stages around the world, and is the creator of “Queer Radio Hour.”

Chris Maikish (he/him) currently serves as Executive Director for Celebration Theatre. Chris is an arts producer and communications professional who has worked with Celebration Theatre since 2010. He also co-founded LA’s popular new musicals concert series A Little New Music, now in partnership with The ASCAP Foundation. A kid from the NY suburbs, Chris arrived here by way of San Francisco and Chicago, where he met his long-time partner, Paul. Chris holds a Master of Public Administration degree from the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Northwestern University. Michael O’Hara (he/him) attended his first show at Celebration Theatre in 2001 and never left. As the theatre’s resident Properties Designer since 2005, as well as Managing Director from 2013-2019, he has additionally supported the theatre in nearly every facet: producer, stage manager, sound mixer, performer, and more. A highly prolific and sought-after Properties Designer throughout Los Angeles, Michael is also an active volunteer for various nonprofit causes like Outfest, and GLAAD. Michael holds a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and a J.D. from the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law.

Parnell Damone Marcano (he/him) has been a member of Celebration Theatre since 2008 and served as company manager for the last decade and is now Board Chair. First appearing on Celebration’s stage in the closing cast of Naked Boys Singing in 1998, he has appeared in and produced several productions since becoming a member. Parnell has performed on stages all around the world with Motown legends Mary Wilson and Thelma Houston but he is probably most well-known for his role as “Carlton Cruise,” an openly gay man on the hit OWN series, “Greenleaf.”

Brittney S. Wheeler (she/her) has been a company member for over 10 years in addition to being a decorated, award-winning performer. A classically-trained vocalist and seasoned actor born and bred in Los Angeles, Wheeler previously served as the theatre’s Casting Associate, helping cast several of the theatre’s biggest productions to date. She was invited to join the artistic team as Associate Artistic Director in 2021 until her promotion to acting Artistic Director in December 2022. Ms. Wheeler holds a BA in Theatre Arts from Concordia University Irvine, and an MA in Theatre Arts from California State University, Northridge.
